Stone ConneXion isn't just another tribute band; we're a passionate homage to the greatest rock 'n' roll band known to man. Hailing from the heart of Long Island, New York, our journey began with a shared love for rock, performing music, and, of course, The Rolling Stones.

Stone ConneXion has earned acclaim from fans, musicians, and venues, becoming synonymous with spellbinding performances that pay tribute to rock's greatest icons. As a band, we're dedicated to two things: having fun and being the most authentic version of the Stones as possible. All it takes is one performance, and you'll be as hooked to the music as we are! Meet the Band

Matt Kelleher

Lead Vocals

Matt fell in love with The Stones during his childhood and began his musical journey by performing in basements. Alongside Greg, he's had the privilege of playing multiple times for Wounded Warriors, including performances at Cedar Beach and in front of the Intrepid! Over the years, he's been a part of various bands, and he loves that he gets to model his music after The Stones.

Greg Bala

Guitar

Greg started playing when his dad, who played the banjo, needed a guitar player. He then went on to become a member of a band that achieved radio airplay for their original music in the late '80s and early '90s. His love of guitar, music, and the Stones brought him to countless events and shows throughout the city and Long Island.

Mike Sarro

Guitar

Mike is a very talented guitar player. He's always had a passion for music and the guitar, which led him to being a dedicated part of Stone ConneXion. He loves that he can follow his passion and perform for people that share his love for music!

Elliot Liebner

Bass

Elliot grew up listening to all the rock idols, including the Stones. He's played across the country, getting to meet some of the people that have made such a big impact on the music world. He loves to see how the greats care about the people and the arts around them. Music holds a special place in his heart, and he's thrilled to share the joy of music with those he cares about and others!

Stewart Wenig

Piano

Stewart isn't just a gifted pianist, he's also a gifted writer, having written well over 500 songs. He's played across the country at famous locales such as CBGB and Tramps. He even performed internationally in Moscow when he played with Sticky Fingers. You can even see him in a scene in "Uncut Gems" so keep your eyes out for him!

Rob Kelleher

Drums

Rob is a self taught drummer who has been playing since he was a kid. He's played in clubs, parks, and other venues across south shore Long Island. He loves rock, he loves the Stones, and he thinks music is magic!
